Plain-English Explanation

Creatine is made in the body, found in foods such as meat and fish, and stored mostly in muscle as creatine and phosphocreatine. In lifting terms, it helps the body recycle energy during repeated short, hard efforts: heavy sets, sprints, jumps, and hard intervals.

The evidence anchor is boring creatine monohydrate, not every gummy, liquid, blend, "advanced" form, or recovery stack. The best-supported use is helping high-intensity training output over time; it is not a steroid, fat burner, hormone booster, or replacement for a real program.

Creatine can increase scale weight because more water is stored with muscle creatine. That is not the same as fat gain, and it is also not proof that the supplement built muscle by itself. Training quality, protein, calories, sleep, and consistency still carry the result.
